THE OWNER OF 1317 JONQUIL ST DOES NOT WANT HER HOME RENTED OUT OR SOLD
Hello Friend:
What a beautiful day in the D.C.!
Family members and residents of Shepherd Park want you to know why you should consider honoring the express wishes of the owner of "1317", Viola Nero, the oldest resident of Shepherd Park who is having her human and civil rights violated by a local lawyer.
Viola adamantly wants to be at home, and has begged and begged to return home to her fully paid for home of over 50 years. Her beloved home is being advertised to be sold or rented out without her permission or knowledge. Please see WUSA interview at the bottom of this blog page.
Notice to Prospective Lessee's:
1317 Jonquil St.N.W.,
Washington, D.C.20012 is being rented out against the express wishes of
the owner Viola Nero by guardian Katherine M. Wiedmann, a prominent
member of the DC Bar who may be under investigation by the D.C. Office of
Inspector General based on complaints against her.
Neighbors, family members
and friends have witnessed the inhumane treatment of our beautiful neighbor
forced out the home that she thrives in into a one room facility less
than 2 miles away where they just experienced second outbreak of bed
bugs and mice. For the past 100 days she has been forced to live in a room with plastic walls while it is being rehabilitated. Social workers, lawyers,
caregivers have all asked why Ms. Wiedmann won't let Mrs. Nero return
home, as the law dictates.
Whoever rents this property
is in the middle of a city wide human rights battle for the dignity of a
citizen who is capable of living in her home; press conferences are
held in front of the home.
Ms. Wiedmann does not inform the honest and innocent members of the real estate community of what she has done and is doing causing them to unknowingly jeopardize their own integrity and reputation in offering Viola's home.
If you ascribe to International Human Rights standards, the U.S. Constitution and D.C. law perhaps you will choose to honor her wishes.
Please view the videos below to see how neighbors and friends are in unanimous support of her return home.
